The next day, they met the Sweetheart Weddings staff at Viestenz-Smith Mountain Park where they tied the knot right along the bank of the Big Thompson River. The mountain and river views were spectacular! Sweetheart Weddings provided the couple with an officiant who customized a personal ceremony for the two, a coordinator who made sure that every detail was attended to, and a photographer to catch the special moments of the day!
After the ceremony, the couple celebrated with an intimate, riverside dance to their favorite song and then a traditional cake-cutting and a popping of the cork! Upon leaving the mountain park, the couple made their way a short distance up the road to spend the remainder of their special day exploring the iconic and scenic mountain town of Estes Park. The Sweetheart Weddings staff provided the couple with many suggestions for places to visit including Rocky Mountain National Park, the historic Stanley Hotel, and a ride up the mountain tram to take in the best views!
This particular couple spent the next few days exploring other Colorado destinations on their wish list (including Denver, Colorado) before heading home to Yukon, Oklahoma to surprise their friends and family with their special news and the story of their enchanted Colorado elopement!
